Considered by many to be the nation's biggest online banker, Wells Fargo's (WFC) online banking accounts grew 150,000 in the first three months of the year, spokeswoman Wendy Grover said.

That's up from 700,000 accounts at year-end 1998 and from 420,000 at the end of 1997.


BTW -- my cousin called and said that Pete Kight was mentioned in this past Sunday's New York Times, in a study of Executive Compensation for high-tech companies (options and the like). Saw the article, but totally missed the mention. Anyone see it?
