I think you are missing the point of integrated chipsets. Generally the stuff you toss on a motherboard is NOT your high-end stuff (unless you are apple). ATI still sells millions of last gen video chipsets (quite profittably) into the oem/motherboard market. The point was with the coming proliferation of 'integrated' solutions, this market will vanish..

If you want good performance you get a card. If you want a compute to put on your secretary's desk you get an IBM with an (at the moment) integrated ATI Rage Pro. In 8 months, you get something that doesn't have an ATI product in it. It's a no win situation for ATI.
