Re China and the royalty race of princes NT and LU:

The Q gains in China unless politics makes that impossible.

LU will gain big in near future if China decides to make gestures to US in context of World Trade Organization negotiations (as will MOT).

NT has an interesting position in China.

Long long term supplier with excellent "contacts" Chinese style.

Diverse wireline and also wireless (GSM) supplier.

Waiting in the wings as a full CDMA supplier.

Being a Canadian company has pluses where emotions re US are sometimes negative - especially when non economic issues involved.

All in all, a fascinating period for telecom in China.

Just a few thoughts on a couple of prince's prospect in largest potential telecom market in the world.

Chaz too
