Patrick, OTOT, but related. The more Intel/AMD cut prices, the more DRAM tanks, the better it is for us - Go!
LSI

As a several year Intel stockholder, I can tell you that some time ago, when they cut prices, their stock sank, at least that day, because people figured it would result in lower margins. Now, as evidenced today, Intel stock goes up when they cut prices as people have figured out that it stimulates business, resulting in higher revenues, and with their great yields and cost control, margins don't suffer at all. I agree with you that it is better for all, as more of all products will be sold.

Another subject, I hope SGI solves their production ramp problem, if that's really the problem, and their new workstations sell like hotcakes. They are super compared to anything else in the NT WS space, and use all LSI ASICS for the chipset. I also hate to see a long time (used to be) star company in Silicon Valley hurting.
