While I am generally in for the long haul (and I have been in this stock for a couple of years) as has been my habit, I have recently acquired an additional large chunk of shares in anticipation of the earnings run-up. I now realize that I will not be able to access my account (i.e. put in a sell order) until April 9. As the earnings are out at the open of trading April 8, I am concerned that by April 9, the stock will have retreated some what. Historically, it seems to have a nice run-up towards earning, a larger uptick after earnings are released, and then by the end of the day of the earnings release, it already seems to pull back, and more so over the next day or so. Any suggestions on putting in a sale order for April 8? Thoughts on price?
