wellllll...here in california our school districts are in a world of hurt...stuff that's well documented..the pre-college education is so poor for a lot of them that they can't get in because nobody taught them what the unwritten rules were, or they weren't courageous enough to bend rules and go places where they weren't invited. That pre-college education is a lot worse than 20 years ago, many don't get basic societal survival skills. If I had to point to one specific issue, that is the one. And yes, there's lots of opportunities, but they tend not to be in corporate america. We are in violent agreement on that one.
