what News did i miss today? why is msft red?

Maybe Dell--Linux deal. I don't think that was the main reason. I think that there are other momentum stocks that are making a run while MSFT already had a good run up. Dell and Intel are doing great. A lot of the momentum investors like some reason to buy the stock now not necessary for the long haul.
IMHO, MSFT may not have much movement until next week or even late this week. Nothing is happening that is of any significance.
On April 13, there is some announcement on internet digital video or audio (i don't remember exactly). We could see a run-up to this announcment plus earnings release getting closer. I don't think there will be too many people going short this stock going into earnings which might cause a resurgence.

I am guessing 105 at least by earnings release. Afterwards--no idea for a little while.
