Yes, Vol, trying to include a market-timing element might be useful, since the screen does badly in a recovery.

If QI allows you to do build a search condition based on the trailing performance of an index, I would suggest using the Russell 2000, because it is the closest index to the small cap stocks identified by this screen. Symbol is RUT.X or ^RUT, or something like that, depending on your quote service.
