Very few investors, it seems to me, really understand what it is that database software makers do, what the software does. They see this damned Microsoft Windows logo all over the place, so I figure it's much easier for them to consider that software prevalent.

Oracle's just not ever going to be as sexy as Microsoft, but if you look at the vast majority of industry reports out lately, it's clear that Oracle is kicking ass and taking names. Anything under 30 is a BO.
