Sure- I think that in that particular time the action was appropriate. I think no one really knew how much of a threat Japanese moles might have posed along the coastal areas. In retrospect- not much to none. But hindsight is 20/20. Under the emergency powers I think it was within the rights of the US as a sovereign power to do it. Would I have agreed with it at the time? Probably not- I never agree with anyone, and if I do agree with someone I begin to be suspicious that I am on the wrong track. It is my nature.
