Jon, for options I use TradeStar : 4tradestar.com The commissions are extremely reasonable, and, the account requirements are very reasonable. Brokers pick up the phone reliably, and you can also trade options online. Bad part - sometimes their website is slow (scratch that - OFTEN, the website is slow). I have some of my longer term holdings there, and you can't really daytrade with them (though some people do it on the phone!). They offer IPOs as well. Check 'em out.
