Wily, Very interesting article, I had heard of "spintronics" and this article is about this phenomenon Obviously this is a completely different method of digital computing than the currently used transistor. IMHO, this is a very long shot and good 15 years away at the earliest. As revolutionary as this concept sounds it is not really new. As it says in the article, "This is the result of a global quest that has gone on for decades." I totally enjoyed the NMGC surprise move today as every other long did, I am sure. Regards, Mani
