Is Wall Street becoming more interested in Net stocks?

"...The number of Internet shares changing hands this week is soaring -- in some cases quadrupling and quintupling their 30-day averages.

Shares of Xoom Inc. (XMCM), the community Web site developer, had their busiest day Monday since March 11 -- and notched an all-time high. The shares traded heavily Tuesday, too. Shares of rival theglobe.com (TGLO) also had their busiest day Monday since March 11. Long-forgotten Didax (AMEN) saw trading that marked its busiest day since Feb. 4, according to Data Broadcasting Corp.'s Signal Online and CBS MarketWatch Live trading software.

Ameritrade Holding's (AMTD) 4.3 million shares Monday were the biggest day for the online brokerage since Feb. 23, when 5.37 million shares changed hands..."
