I am here to admit that my whole strategy for buying the Gorrillas is to buy them at the bottom of what I believe will be huge correction
at somepoint before December--but I read this thread and "drool"
at owning stocks like AOL ATHM UNPH YHOO QCOM and so on---if this strategy doesn't work for me,bad luck for me---but that is my decision and I am sticking with it,Good Luck,Max90

QCOM selected in Fortune 500 List.

Message 8738308

How are the S&P 500 companies selected?
Are they selected by revenue?

If QCOM is added to the S&P 500 many index funds will have to add it to their portfolios.

P.S:

QCOM also at #40 in the list of companies with the Biggest Revenue increases.
