ATHM/XCIT will merge then the split date will be announced. ATHM has announced 2:1 split, just not the date yet.

No...EXCIT will not split, but the ratio of conversion will..

just as netscape and aol..did....
pre aol split: netscape was .45*AOL,
post aol split: netscape was .90*aol.

so you will receive the same value....I believe XCIT ratio is currently 1.040219 *ATHM?
so post ATHM split will be 2.0804218 *ATHM

This assumes the merger does not happen until post split...if it happens before...the question is moot.
