Is this the last shake-out or bottom-less dropping? COMS is at its 4 years low!!! It broke the major support now, I could not find where is the next support within a 5 years chart. with PE at almost 1/7 of CSCO, is csco to expensive or coms too cheap? probably both! ZG

VChairman Cowell Case sold approx.$75mil worth of COMS in Jan 99.

We (shareholders) should have followed. (( Eric Benhamou sold because Case told him to do so. (just joking))). I don't know if any share holders are filing a class action suit.

Anyway, I don't know why the sharp fall beside the lowered quarter numbers. In my opinion, MM & WS don't have faith in Eric and 3Com at the moment. He doesn't have a plan or any visions especially on any type of restructuring. The MM & WS want to hear some type of restructuring in the company for future growth. WS & MM want a PARADIGM change. I still believe 3COM will have a great coming quarter.

the axe is the mm or book that is doing the majority share of the business with the stock. i determine the axe, if i don't already know who it is, by the level2 mm window that shows "# of times best" ask and/or bid. then i highlight that mm so he is easy to see on my desktop. as you are probably well aware, there are those who think it is wise to mimic the movements of the axe. if he's showing size to buy, good time to get in. size to sell, he has too much product, and it's time to get out or sell short.

hope this helps.
