What is the possibility of IOM licensing the Zip Drive. I mean really licensing to all willing to manufacture it, thereby truly making the Zip more of a commodity and replacing the 1.44mb format entirely?

How many computers are projected to sell for the rest of 1999/2000.
Licensing could be the easy way out for IOM. This was talked about frequently over a year ago, now with Zip Drives standard, should we consider this again?

Thoughts,

Fred
