The barren Namibian dykes are even on the same strike as the Winspear fissure vein. It is also the regional strike of a group of late dykes that intrude the Superior province. It happens to be the approximate drift direction of the continent around that time. Along the dykes are blows of different ages that demarcate by younging the direction and speed of the drift.
