Even an earning of 0.30 or so looks great in comparison of the interNUTS! YHOO is only projected to earn 0.10-0.12 per share with a stock price of 220. Why the double standards for interNUTS and the rest of the companies? The current evaluation of stocks by the street and the so called "analysts" does not make any sense.

"but I am sure the CEO wishes he could elaborate more. "

Sorry I dont agree. He didnt sound at all positive about the coming year. In fact compared is industry to the ERP industry. If you have questions about how thats going hang out at the psft,SAP ,MANU,ORCL etc sites. Sounds like the bears had this one right. Going to keep my shares, but I also like the ERP industry. Weird huh.

Folks, my top line take on call: They have reclassified something like 230M per SEC. Really no huge deal. Adds 36M to amortization for 99 and I guess similar amounts in out years, which will be less and less significant as revenue goes over 1B+.

Larson's explanation for missing Q1: I'll paraphrase: "We always wanted to be an enterprise software company, and a couple of weeks ago we woke up to find we had morphed into one overnight. Deals will take longer to close now." How can you be unprepared to reach you goal? Is that why they are in a rush to sign up the big name consultant firms, because they've gotten themselves into a market the really don't know how to sell to? Larson made plenty of positive comments about outlook. I can't really argue with what he was saying about the strength of NAI in this niche, and how the "newness" of the enterprise network security market has both customer and suppliers feeling around in the predawn-light. That all may be true, which means revenue flatline until they figure it out which is what, months? Qtr's?
