I haven't a clue why certain phrases resonate for certain people. I had a Hymn going through my head today. Why? I don't know. I saw "Sufficient unto the day is the evil therein" in a Zane Gray book, later saw it when I read every verse in the Bible. Kinda stuck. I think it means don't worry about yesterday or tomorrow. Why did I read the whole Bible? Got tired of people telling me what it said. Why did I read all the Zane Gray's? When I read an author I usually read everything he wrote. Ok, I'm weird.
