FOUNDERS' TIES FLOUNDER AT THESTREET.COM
nypostonline.com

A cold war has erupted between TheStreet.com co-founders James Cramer and New Republic owner Martin Peretz.

The two founders - once the closest of friends - have feuded over operations and how to divvy up the financial website's stock and have not been on speaking terms for months, according to an article in Fortune that hits this week.

The news comes as the company prepares an initial public offering that is expected to go off at between $11 and $13 a share and raise up to $71.5 million.

That would give the money-losing operation a market value of $326 million.
