MICROSOFT TO POST FIX FOR WINDOWS 95 OPERATING SYSTEM NEXT WEEKApril 6, 1999 CNET News reported that Microsoft Corporation said it will bring all of its products into Y2K compliance before January 1, 2000. The report said that next week Microsoft will post a download patch for its Windows 95 operating system on the company's website that will make the software Year-2000 compliant. CNET noted, "Previously, Microsoft offered patches to Windows 95 that made the operating system 'compliant with minor issues.'"
