Truth be told, they are now leading the charge in trying to get NATO to stop the bombing... especially so now that this mess is coming to a major boilover.

In all of my years overseas, from Southeast Asia, to the Middle East, to Africa, and Europe, I always thought one of the reasons we served was so America and American's wouldn't be faced with the grim realities that confront much of the rest of the world on a daily basis.

I'm starting to realize that we may have done the people back home a disservice by allowing them to remain so completely naive and totally ignorant of the dangers that are only one unconfronted aggression away from slapping that TV remote out of their hands and snatching them up by the short hairs into the real world.

James, if you and and those others here, actually believe we have no business there at all then maybe it's about time you got out in the real world and started taking care of all of this trivial bullshit, like national defense and international diplomacy that these supposed experts have been fucking up so badly. That ought to be fun to watch.

In the immortal words of dean Wormer; "Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life".

>Those are the countries (Italy & Greece) that will have to live beside Yugoslavia forever (pending plate techtonics as Lather&Rinse mentioned) ... and their against it but were to afraid to veto the NATO motion for fear of losing NATO protection and possibly suffering economic sactions.

RIGHT ON Jim!
