So I suppose you would have sent in Thomas the Tank Engine and magically whisked the Kosovars to safety rather than confront the Serbs and Milosevic with the only rationale they understand. Military force. They've made a mockery out of diplomatic efforts for eight years. Now all of the sudden we seem to have their undivided attention.

A constant for all of the anti-Nato postings on this thread is that not one of you have ever offered a realistic, alternative solution to stopping the interminable warfare in the Balkans. The closest any of you have come is to suggest that if we turn our backs and give the Serbs a little more time unhindered. it will all sort itself out and we'll never have to worry about those bothersome Kosovars (Or Bosnian Muslims, or Croats, or non-Serb Montenegrans and Macedonians) ever again. What a bunch of self righteous, hypocritical, bed wetters. You just don't want to be bothered. If you can't offer anything besides your whining, then go back to your Dawson's Creek fan clubs and deep philosophical discussions over cups of Starbucks coffee.

If you do have any realistic alternatives (note I specified realistic), then I'm listening.
