"Bob, I must confess I'm very concerned about flodyie's termination of membership. If it in fact it is for posting the information gleaned from public records concerning Mr. Fantetti's involvement with Coyote, this is an integral part of the due diligence necessary to uncovering fraudulent stock distribution schemes. To use a well known cliche, one 'follows the money'. If it is as simple as buying a membership on SI to suppress the dissemination of such information, it is a great disservice to the search for the truth.

I am fully against the publishing of personal information for those members that have no affiliation with the company at hand, or who maintain their status as private individuals. Were Michael Dell to own stock in WXYZ, his public stature would not be relevent to WXYZ. However, were he to become a member of SI, it should not give him the right to squelch the freeflow of information concerning his involvement in DELL.

It is a fact that in libel laws 'public figures' are assumed to have given up many of the rights enjoyed by 'private figures'. Malicious intent must be proven in order for that person to be libeled. I believe that the same standard should apply to the rights of SI members to maintain their privacy. Mr. Fantetti chose to become a public figure with respect to CYOE/Diana Corp.

I vigorously encourage you to reconsider your decision to terminate the membership of flodyie, and request that you reinstate him immediately.

Barb
