Noticed a couple of things today. 1) It appeared that an outside MM used the Island book's "Best Price" to manipulate the inside spread to the value that he wanted to trade. Made his trade(s), away from the Island book, then canceled the Island order. Nice little trick... might prove usefully to other traders holding multiple accounts? 2) When watching the Island book viewer, if you see your order, click on it and check the little display window with the order details. It will often give you a clue that your order has been 'removed' from Island BEFORE there is any reflection on any of your Datek screens. n
