JLA--- I do not anticipate the facts to ever be similar, because most people who run for the office are not such trash as Clinton, and because no one in his right mind would want to set up such a situation to go through again. Those who stand before the bar of justice argue whatever may help them to escape, and so I cannot say that no one will argue this precedent, but I doubt that it will matter, because, as you have often yourself argued, impeachment and removal are political,and therefore complex judgements, and no one before an ordinary court is in precisely the same circumstances as a president. I will not deny that there is something wrong when we cannot throw the rascal out, since I also considered the case to be compelling, we are only arguing over the magnitude of the problem, after all...
