There is a fellow on Yahoo about to put his life savings into AXC because he thinks it owns WEBTV.

He's half right. <G>

interactive workshops...
using screenings and analysis realtime.
expand on the inside the actor's studio format.

in conjunction with sundance ifc, bravo, etc. elaborate on
works in progress efforts, along the lines of the
south bank show meets the "new school without walls
on the internet traversing the new media...."
a civilized version somewhat along the lines of an after
the broadcast X files chat room, but narrowcast and specific.
more audience targeted by definition, rather than by- product
interactivity...participation as opposed to simple reactions by
debriefing.

screenplay workshops,
playwright symposia, the ascap songwriter grant process,
among others....fund alternative museum efforts with web
efforts, enable the nea to have am open forum, public
performances of the lesser seen kind....

pay per view, pay per more choices, pay per channel selection & programming....

Name recognition problems are unfortunate and avoidable, Michael.

Here's what a good firm with a semi-generic name (MultiMedia Access Corp. NASD: MMAC) just did to fix its identity problem: It became...ViewCast.com (NASD: VCST)! Terrific move!

Just look at the stock's volume (and for that matter, do some DD on it)!

Open letter from Bill Jobe President and CEO of ViewCast.com
April 7, 1999

Dear Friends,

I would like to personally thank each one of you for your support of MultiMedia Access Corporation over the years. As you know MMAC has historically been known as a development house with a breadth of core video technology and a focus on video conferencing. However, some of our most significant successes to date have been in the Internet video streaming market. While we will not abandon any of our current products and will in fact, expand them, our vision is to leverage our core technology and extend our penetration into the networked video market, an arena that offers enormous opportunities.

We have changed the name of our company to ViewCast.com to be more representative of this strategic focus. Our Nasdaq stock symbol has also changed from MMAC to VCST.

In September of 1997 we demonstrated the industry's first turnkey system for Internet streaming video– the ViewCastÒ system. Since then, ViewCast.com's entire product line has expanded its penetration into the networked video arena with its unique blend of component, system, and complete solution products. Critical to the success in the Internet video market has been the company's focus on technology development adding value to solutions delivered by leading industry partners.

Our objective is to continue to provide industry leading components, systems, and turnkey solutions for networked video applications. Osprey Technologies, a division of ViewCast.com, video capture and compression cards are the market leaders for Internet video streaming. Our video products add value for anyone; from the first-time creators of Internet video content to the professional network video broadcaster.

Key to our continued success in the Internet video space is the combination of our own core technology development and our relationships with leading industry partners.

Best Regards,

William D. Jobe
President and CEO
