Now this is an actual post of a Serb...interesting to see how one Serb views this:

NATO does not have any chance. I am looking CNN every day and what I see they are
more and more afraid. What ever bombing takes NATO could not even find YFA. It is
by the way very good equipped, organized and motivated. To anybody who is not well
inform I would like to tell that the USA is attacking Yugoslavia for 10 years now,
it destructed Yugoslavia by monopoly on propaganda, by monopoly on decision
making, by supporting domestic traitors and terrorists, by acting against all
international laws and at the end by waging the war. Everything just because the
Serbs did not obey their ruling the world. And now the Serbs are extremely
motivated to win over this big mistake Clinton has done.
How? NATO will never involve ground troops just because uncle Sam likes to earn
money for bombs but does not like to pay for dead solders. Second, for anyone who
is not informed Serbia has been a grave yard for emperors. If the bombing takes to
long, the world will start seeing the NATO as an inefficient coward terrorist
organization (it already is) and nobody likes to cooperate with such
organisations. Not to mention that Russia did not say its last word. NATO will
have big problems to survive if so, and the USA will not be a supper power any
more. The world will thanks to Serbia for relief of the terrorist organization.
Serbia will be pretty much destroyed (it is not first time) but the world likes
brave winners and will help Yugoslavia to be rebuild.

<<And are you seriously of the opinion that if we hadn't bombed Serbia they would have invaded us?>>

I was not making that argument at all.

Frankly, this bombing has increased, not decreased, the danger to the U.S. home front. One more set of crazies wanting to bomb our planes or buildings or what have you. This is NOT what I consider an intelligent, or even appropriate, use of our Defense Department.

No kidding. Same story with the cruise missile adventures in Afganastan and Sudan. It's like throwing a small rock at a hornet's nest. Doesn't hurt the bees much but it does stir them up.
