More on OUM vs. tmj-RAM

Ray, I don't think we have a speed advantage over tmj-RAM if my notes and the article are correct. One of the articles on spintronics indicated that it may be tri-state (up, down, and mixed) and not just binary. Stan said on one call that we could have 16 or more states, so we are way ahead on that front. We also sound a lot closer to volume production, and I mean years.

Whoever mentioned no clean room: I've been wracking my brain over this one. I think what was said was that we didn't need to build a special purpose fab, that a few mask layers could be very quickly and cheaply integrated into a CMOS fab, for instance. But it is still a cleanroom. Comments, whoever said no clean room?

Type "spintronics" into a search engine and follow some of the links. There is a major battle going on here between some very heavyweight players, and it is nice we have General Tyler Lowrey leading our troops. This sleeper at ECD could eclipse the other business areas...
