jennifer .. I've spent some time evaluating various entry points and holding periods for this 'post IPO' play .. Looking at all i-net related IPO's from Feb 10 to date .. the best results were from an entry on IPO +6 trading days and selling MOC on first full day of analyst coverage .. There appears to be 2 recurring price patterns 1) An initial 'pop' with a 'low' falling in range of IPO +3 to IPO +10 2) An initial 'pop' followed by several consecutive days of higher highs and higher lows An arbitrary buy on IPO +6 gets you in near the lows for scenario 1 and in early enough on scenario 2 for continued movement. I agree with your assessment of day-trading some of these issues as they exhibit wide daily ranges ,good liquidity and no shorting.
