... high inflation, high interest rates and high unemployment ... Which of those 3 caused the 1929 bear market? The 1990 bear market in Japan? ...none of these are good for the economy or the people that live in that economy... This is Joe's silly assertion that I quarrel with. Joe Kernen's degree in molecular biology is impressive. However, neither that nor Alan Abelson is at all relevant to this discussion. I don't blame Joe personally, because he seems like a very nice guy. It's just a sign of the times. This market is an embarrassment to investing. Tom
