Building a computer is easy. The putting together is the easy part. Loading the software and getting all the hardware like video, sound, modems (modems are a special pain in the keester), TV cards and Network cards to work is the hard part. This can take between 3 hours and a week to do. Usually well before a week is up, the component that is giving me trouble winds up being modified with a hammer. I had one modem that wound up on the bottom of the neighbor's swimming pool for a couple of days.
