You fool. Airlines are a real business and almost make money, if you start adding up everything since NorthWorst started out operations. Priceline looses money hand over fist and will never make money, ergo, should be worth more than all airlines combined.

if people would look at these companies as if they bought the whole company and had to live off the earnings instead of the stock price things would be different. as an example compare the market cap and earnings of aol & wpo.
