"What's happening to free speech in the US for god's sake?" David, SI is a private forum, not a gov't entity. As such, First Amendment rights play no role in the argument. SI can set the rules as they see fit. They are not required to be reasonable. However, one can hope that they will be, and request that they choose to do so. One also has the freedom to 'vote with their feet' if SI chooses to not be reasonable. But any free speech rights here belong to SI, not the individual posters. Barb

David, I think that the administrators of SI are being heavily scrutinized by various agencies, many of which would love to do away with these threads. When they see a violation by a poster (and they know the rules) then in their eyes SI admin is just as guilty if they don't take quick corrective measures. I have been lurking on this thread for about two months now and can say that while I don't agree with some of the tactics, I do find that many of these posters are very knowledgeable and go to great lengths to find facts to back up their claims. I would also venture to say that Anthony's notoriety for shorting stocks has been spreading far and wide across other investments sites and as a result will fall under even greater scrutiny. I would just encourage the folks here to keep up the diligent research but to remember that anything said will most definitely be used either for or against you. Chris
