I seriously doubt that is the same guy. Vice of DAIWA securities? I don't know too many CEO types that talk or write like that. If that is the next in line for DAIWA securities, hurry and give me a ticker symbol so I can short the company for some guaranteed money. <g>

We had over a hundred posts today and not one mention of the Utilities breaking down. I also noticed some of the other out of favor stocks still falling at a rapid rate. IT and Software is still taking a beating. Many of those that I track were down 5-10% today after dropping 10% yesterday. I find it a sad day when many of these companies are earning real money and have 10 year proven track records but due to Y2K slowdown concerns, they are trading for PE ratios of 8-20. Meanwhile the nuts keep going higher. I read a post somewhere tonight, stating that AOL is already trading at 4 1/2 times the revenues they would get if they had every single person living in the US signed up to them.

I am starting to get my little red sell dots showing up on some of the street darlings although they are only class 2 sells for the most part. Soon as they start to dominate again, I may be able to rip off some of this velcro. I am behind tonight so I haven't scanned all the data yet. I did see the new lows were around 150 on the NAS again. If YHOO has a good report and that Internet "MAJOR NEWS ANNOUNCEMENT" is really something big like AMZN/DELL merger or something, then look out above. Too scared to be short, not enough glue to be long.

Just hoping I make retirement before this Kosovo/Vietnam thing gets too big. Clinton said before his first term he wanted to be like Kennedy. Well he has womanized in the White House, and now he is starting to inch his way slowly into another Vietnam scenario rather than just carpet bombing, invading, and getting out quick like the Republicans did for Desert Storm.

Why do I get a familiar feeling when I hear "I absolutely will not send Ground troops to Kosovo" It really doesn't sound anything like "I absolutely did not have sexual relations with Monica Lewinski" and besides, my Commander in Chief would not lie to me. <ng>

Good Luck,

Lee
