They can introduce it any time they want.

Shipping it to paying customers is, of course, a whole different matter.

I'm sure AMD has the "K7 CHIP SETs NOT AVAILABLE" fall back position already drawn up in their game plan.

The lawyers have got them paranoid, no doubt. A lot of piling on with these lawsuits they're facing. Prediction: the whole thing will be consolidated and settled out of court for yet another outflow of AMD cash (notes?).
