I make money on my investments, just not as much money as some. Traditional valuation measures are hardly arbitrary.

Fundamental stock analysis is out of favor these days. You cannot explain the values of the Internet companies or the DOW by using the traditional stock valuation measures such as P/E,P/BV etc. It seems that we are witnessing a bubble which is getting bigger every day.

Unfortunately,all bubbles eventually burst.I think that we can look at what happened to the Nikkei in 1990 as a parallel.

I understand that CNBC must focus on the hot companies of the market such as the internet stocks. However, I would appreciate if there was more coverage of other sectors such as retail autos etc. Sometimes, it seems as though the internet is the only play out there.
