I have been alerted to the possibilities by this thread. One summer I lived by catching blue crabs out of the tidal rivers of coastal Georgia. Unfortunately, I never had a body to dispose of, and had to use rotting croaker and other trash fish. I'd set a dozen baskets with rotten fish tied in the bottom with string, and by the time I emptied and reset all the baskets I'd have 30 or forty crabs. This kept up all day and I'd take several hundred crabs without buying bait. I think if I'd had a body to dispose of I could have made real money. So, just dump the body in tidal water behind a crab shack and the crabs will do your job for you. Use weights.
