DVD would be cool, but integrating Slipstream into an actual TV, eliminating the set-top box model itself, would prove far more interesting.

Asia will not have the infrastructure for HDTV for years, so I still see a large market for "normal" Tellies for years to come.

As for CUBE and MUCP, I must admit I didn't fully understand what happend, and didn't happen there. I'm not sure if they wanted the entire ENVOY architecture, or wished to modify it in a way that MSU didn't agree to.

But what yesterday's announcement meant to me was that they now have a manufacturer/distributor in China that apparently can produce large product runs per month at the targeted price point. This was one of the final obstacles, I imagine, to consumating a large order of boxes from one of their prospective clients. A purchase order should be the next "major" press release.
