I'm sure Michael would tell you he's not objective either ;^}.

I don't care much whether Emerald's objective -- I think very few analysts are, since they almost always have motives driven by corporate finance depts -- taking a company public, supporting "their own", making a call early for their best investors and then unveiling it to the public.

My point is, Emerald won't wield much influence as their bias is well known. Then again, caveat emptor.
