Dennis, Favors appears to be cut out of the same cloth as Prechter... A great researcher who is extremely intelligent and academic minded. But he suffers deficiencies in APPLYING the tools he develops. I attribute this to the fact that he doesn't seem to trade personal accounts. He got his start as a broker with Merrill Lynch back in the 1976...2 months before he was to GRADUATE from Ohio State University (never finished)!! In the early 80's, he graduated <?> to Dean Witter, and by the late 80's he was offering commentary as a guest on Financial News Network and several national business radio programs. His work was funneled into many major financial periodicals (WSJ, Barron's, USA Today..etc.), and he subsequently started his subscription services. What you find missing in his bio is successful money fund operations. Thus, he never passed through the "fiery furnace" to refine his techniques so that they are tradeable day to day. He can certainly put you in 8 or 10 good trades per year, but day to day, or week to week... You must be kidding!! <g> That's why your cancellation of the daily sub. was a good idea, and maintenance of the monthly an even better one. I'm sure your trading results as well as many others on SI have improved accordingly. David
