ABOV to those who follow. Is the following genrally good news or bad? NETG came up with a secondary & went up 20 points. ABOV do the same?

AboveNet files for 4.0 mln shr offering
SAN JOSE, Calif., April 7 (Reuters) - AboveNet Communications Inc. said on Wednesday it plans to file a registration statement relating to a proposed public offering of 4,000,000 shares of common stock.

The company will also offer up to 600,000 additional common shares to cover over-allotments, if any.

AboveNet said 2.7 million shares will be sold by the company and 1.3 million by certain stockholders.

The net proceeds to the company from the offering are expected to be used for capital expenditures relating to the build out of its ISX facilities and increasing network capacity, potential strategic investments, working capital and general corporate purposes.

09:00 ET Intel Corp (INTC) 130 7/16: DLJ views recent rise in chip maker's shares a case of irrational exuberance. Given slowing demand for PCs, increased competitive threat from Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and belief that company will report March qtr earnings that are no better than expected, DLJ advises that investors have no greater than a market weight position in the stock. Firm maintains "market perform" rating and $160 target price.
