SAN JOSE, Calif., April 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Packard Bell, Europe's leading Home PC manufacturer, today announced it
will ship in May selected models of its MultiMedia PC line with Voodoo3(TM), the new high-performance 3D and 2D
graphics accelerator from 3dfx Interactive, Inc. (Nasdaq: TDFX). Targeted at family users throughout Europe, the
Packard Bell MultiMedia PC line is a user-friendly and complete PC, featuring more than 30 best selling software titles and
unique Internet tools for an easy, quick, cost effective and advanced Web surfing experience. The Packard Bell MultiMedia
line caters for education, entertainment and productivity, addressing the needs of family users, whether adult, child or
teenager.

To provide its customers with an even more exciting and unique gaming experience, Packard Bell in mid-May will begin
integrating 3dfx Interactive's advanced Voodoo3 2000 acceleration technology onto the motherboard of selected models in
the MultiMedia line. The Voodoo3 graphics accelerator is capable of generating up to 6 million triangles and 286
Megatexels per second at resolutions of up to 2,046 by 1,536 pixels.
