Interesting thing about TUNE/TUNEP. . Looks like there are several dynamics at work at the same time. First, there is the obvious internet mania. Second, there is a feeling that the oomph of this run was caused by short covering. There are loads of shares out there and many were short from last April, when it was high. . .so there is still interest by shorts, and some Evil Kinevil Kamakaze shorts that took positions all along. But the third dynamic seems to have the most buying power now. And that is big money, perhaps institutional, perhaps very large position traders, not sure. But when the price drops down, then it gets hit, not with 200 or 500 share buys, but with 3000 and 5000 share size buying well above the ask. This could indicate that the stock is still under a sort of accumulation. If you re-read what I wrote yesterday about the prospects and relations with A.T. and T., then it begins to make more sense. Message 8735767 "Liberty Digital" could be another ATHM and just keep on rising and eventually becoming a blue chip. [now if that is not going out on a limb, nothing is] Yup, At Home has no earnings and is a blue chip member of the S and P index. . . TUNE has some enormous revenues thru their highly successful DMX unit. Now with this "package" of direct digital audio/video technology, it could be that A.T. and T. is positioning Liberty Digital to becoming like their sister holding ATHM. And if that is the case, then spending 25, 35 or 45 on TUNE is still bargain basement, considering the price of ATHM, BCST, etc. There may soon come a time when we will kick our own butts for not seeing down the road that this was a 100+ dollar stock and we could have had it under 50.00. I am by no means suggesting we pour our money into it. I am merely bringing up the possibilities. And stating that further extensive DD may be required by those that believe that this scenario could happen. . . Make up your own minds for sure, but JUST DON'T IGNORE IT. Watch TUNE very closely and try to get the big picture of what A.T. and T. has been trying to accomplish with Next Generation Internet investments and acquisitions. Rande Is
