Too bad NC was not sueing (to the best of my knowledge). We could have them drop out as a result of this announcement.

I don't think we are going to get that options buying opportunity from a pullback in MSFT anymore. It is just too close to earnings. Dell issued a clarification on the Linux deal. Dell knows their future is with Windows98 and Windows2000. MSFT has announcments coming up right until earnings release.
First MSFT should recover its losses from yesterday. Then, I think we are headed much higher, maybe 100 very soon.

Mr. Teflon,

Curious to see MSFT just announce they are staying in NC for now...Wonder if the negotiations to move office complex to SC had anything to do with SC dropping out of the case????
I wonder which other states MSFT currently has these types of negotiations on going with at this time ?

This is a common tactic, a hold over from the defense industry. One company would have a plant located in as many states as possible, they had offices in over 40 states. Needless to say the government left them alone.

Thank You

JK
