agreed. an argument can be made that broad sectors of the market have in fact been in a bear market and are at attractive valuations.

The overvaluation has gotten extreme in only a small number of stocks. But in fairness to Fleckenstein this is still a big concern. These stocks have been getting major attention and if they were to correct they would set the mood. The broad market could hang in pretty well and if there were a major correction among the leaders it would do significant psychological damage. Just look at the era of the 'Nifty Fifty' back in the 60s.
