Hi El- Dell is fortunate that everyone's weak January was captured in their LAST quarter's results....despite all the gloomy predictions, it looks like PIII sales were respectable, and Dell had 2 months of product launch captured in this quarter...Should be a good quarter for Dell...especially given the lower expectations...

Yes, what is good for Dell (the stock) is often also good for Compaq (the stock)..not necessarily logical, but, (dont know about you) I'll take it any way I can.....

Hang in there...I reckon Compaq has got to get a pop in here (April)...surely, either the news will be better than expected or (2) it is a sell the news, buy after situation..

One thing's for sure, if Pfeiffer/Mason can't get things going again in the next few months...people should be asking them to leave...I think, though, they will get it going here (heard that before?)..Seriously, I think they will...

Hang in there...
