<<If religion helps people live a better life I am all for it. I just want to make sure that religous people do not try to restrict the information for the rest of the people...>>

Nothing to worry about. Religion is only here to help people live a better life. There is a higher law and order and we are encouraged by religion to live by it. Faith and principle are foundations to live by, that can manifest only goodness. Of course when people attach some sort of false geopolitical loyalty to a religion and begin to worship that, then they limit themselves and definitely begin to restrict other people. This is not God's religion it is the religion of the world masked as God's religion.

Religious people have no business restricting any information for the rest of the people. God has commanded us to study his creation and obtain wisdom therein. It is the business of educated religious people to warn the less enlightened of the dangers and destruction positioned in their path by the attractive and evil seductions of Satan.

It is the business of religious people to fight against sin and injustice. If that limits you, to bad.

I suspect you are exaggerating what is happening in Texas and other states. All educated people know about biological adaptation. We recognize that our bodies are animal while our spirit possesses a higher conscience (I will consider you an exception to that rule). Evolution as a dynamic function of life science is worthy of study. Evolution as the theory of creation is a gigantic leap and takes a whole lot more faith than believing in an all powerful God. The all powerful God has sent many messengers with his messages to us. These messages can be verified by looking at the lives of those who obey them. The message holds true one hundred percent of the time. You would speculate the one lie in the mix is that the message comes from God instead of the thoughts of a few good men. Why would the messengers consistantly hold to that lie? I am thinking if I had come up with the best plan and rationale for a good life that any one had ever come up with and I could take any credit for it. I'd be taking that to the bank.

<<I am just working to ensure others don't destroy our children's chance at enlightenment.>>

Me too, and while I am at it I am working to ensure others don't send our children down a path of destruction.

<<There may be things outside our universe, but if they intersect there will be an effect (or if no effect, then no information can be gleaned in the process).>>

Yes, so why are you choosing to ignore the intersection, the effects, and the information that is gleaned from the process?
