"Banks: The Dominant Future Buyers of Smart Cards."
In his position at CertCo, Mr. Freund drives the company's technology that enables financial institutions to offer essential trust infrastructure services to support high-value electronic commerce. He also played a key role in the formation of a global banking consortium designed to enable widespread adoption of trusted business-to-business e-commerce. This for-profit company comprises CertCo and eight global financial institutions: ABN AMRO, Bank of America, Bankers Trust, Barclays Bank, Chase Manhattan, Citibank, Deutsche Bank and Hypo Vereinsbank.

Three banks stand out -
1. Bank of America, we are having a test program with them and Identicator
And
2. Citibank, a major shareholder of IDX
3. Barclays, a major shareholder of IDX

Does anyone know where we can find the latest info of who the other major institutional shareholders are? It might be interesting to see if some banks are on the list.
